Cullowhee, N.C. – Western Carolina held Furman to its lowest points total in 10 years as the Catamounts cruised past Furman 65-41 in Southern Conference men's basketball action on Thursday evening at the Ramsey Regional Activity Center.
The loss snapped Furman's four-game winning streak as the Paladins (15-6, 7-3 SoCon) dropped their fifth straight game against the Catamounts (9-12, 5-4) and fifth straight in Cullowhee. Furman's 41 points was its fewest since scoring just 37 in a 61-37 loss at College of Charleston on February 10, 2001.
