Men's Basketball Opens Charleston Road Swing Thursday

Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina men's basketball will play four of its next five games away from the friendly confines of the Ramsey Center beginning this week with a two-game road swing through the South Carolina Lowcountry. WCU plays the first of two games in Charleston this Thursday, Jan. 20 as it visits Southern Conference South Division co-leading College of Charleston at 7:00 pm.

Winners of four-straight, Western Carolina (8-10, 4-2 SoCon) has taken three of the last five meetings with the College of Charleston which enters Thursday night's game after a three-point road loss at North Division-leading, Chattanooga.

Two of the NCAA's winningest active head coaches will square off on Thursday as Western Carolina's Larry Hunter - 12th among active coaches with 589 career wins - will match wits with Cremins who ranks 15th with 553 career wins.
