Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina plays its first game of 2011 on Wednesday night as it returns to Southern Conference action at Georgia Southern. Tip-off from the Hanner Field House in Statesboro, Ga., is scheduled for 7:00 pm. Western Carolina (4-10) looks to end both a six-game seasonal losing skid, as well as a six-game drought in games played against Georgia Southern in Statesboro.
Wednesday's meeting marks the only regular seasonal match-up this year between the two schools.
