CINCINNATI – Pitcher Jared Burton avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Cincinnati Reds.
The former Western Carolina right-hander was injured for part of the 2010 season and spent most of the year at Triple-A Louisville, where he was 2-4 with a 2.61 ERA in 33 games.
