Catamounts Back In Action at the JRF Combined Events Invitational

The Western Carolina track & field program will compete this weekend in the JRF Combined Events Invitational on the campus of Clemson University. Held at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex, the event is named in honor of former Clemson men's assistant Jarrett Foster, who coached 12 All-Americans during his time at Clemson. Several schools from around the Southeast will participate.

The action gets underway Friday with the running of the 60m hurdles at 12:00 pm. The 60m dash will begin shortly after the women's 60m hurdles event, featuring the reigning SoCon track and field Athlete of the Week, Jane't Carothers. The rest of the sprints will take place on Friday, with the 5000m run concluding Friday's events.
