Catamounts have won four-straight games over the Paladins
WCU has won seven-straight home games including a 5-0 home mark this season. All told, the Catamounts have claimed victory in 32 of their last 37 home games and 21 of the last 24 home games in SoCon play.
Cullowhee, N.C. - In a battle for Southern Conference "purple supremacy," the Western Carolina Catamounts host the Furman Paladins Thursday night in league action in the Ramsey Center. Tip-off from the Ramsey Center is scheduled for 7:00 pm. Western Carolina (8-12, 4-4 SoCon) has lost two-straight games in conference play after falling on the road to the College of Charleston and The Citadel last weekend. The two-game slide halted WCU's four-game winning streak to open the 2011 calendar year. Despite the losses, the Catamounts retain possession of second place in the SoCon North Division behind Chattanooga at 7-2 overall, half a game ahead of both Elon and Appalachian State, both tied at 4-5 in league games.
