Cullowhee, NC -The
Catamounts split their two game series with the
Ohio Bobcats on Tuesday in the
Catamount Softball Complex. The
Cats lost the first game 10-5, but bounced back in the nightcap to win 9-6. During the doubleheader,
Erin Foster hit three home runs. In the first game she was 2-for-4 with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs scored, and in the second game she went 2-for-3 with two homeruns, four RBIs and two runs scored. Foster leads the team with eight homeruns for the season.
The
Cats host their first
SoCon series of the season on Saturday when they welcome
Charleston to Cullowhee. The
Cats and
Cougars play a doubleheader on Saturday (1 p.m.) and then a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
