The Catamounts will partner with mountain rival Appalachian State to take on Wilmington and East Carolina in the yearly track & field meet. The Mountains team has won all three previous events.
The meet is set to get under way at 9 a.m. Saturday with the field events, beginning with the women's hammer throw and continuing throughout the day before wrapping up with the men's shot put and the women's discus at 3:30 p.m.
The running events kick off at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 4x100 relay and progress to the day's final event, the men's 4x400 relay, at 4:30 p.m.
