The Catamounts won Sunday's rubber-match with The Citadel, 6-5, and with the win, took the series over the Bulldogs. The Cats scored two runs in the eighth inning to rally past The Citadel Sunday afternoon at Riley Park, taking the weekend series two game to one. Preston Hatcher (2-0) picked up the win for Western Carolina and Ross White (0-3) got the loss for The Citadel.
Western Carolina hosts No. 17 Clemson at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium. First pitch on Wednesday is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
