Woodstock, Ga. - The Catamounts swept a pair of tight games Sunday on the final day of the Buzz Classic. The Cats defeated Southeastern Louisiana 5-4 and Alabama State 7-6 in eight innings.
In the Southeastern Louisiana game, Katie King got the start and earned the win to improve to 2-3 on the season. In the Alabama State game, Amber Steinhardt pitched 8 innings and picked up the win.
The Cats returns to action on Tuesday playing a doubleheader at Georgia Tech.
