No real surprises in the four games on Monday night, except the final score in a couple of games. There now only remains one team with no conference losses, ETSU.
Chattanooga at Wofford
The Moc's Tre' McLean scored 16 points to lead Chattanooga past Wofford 77-68 Monday night. While trailing most of the game, the Mocs went on a 10-point run in the second half to tie game at 42 all. Late in the game, and with the Mocs leading 68-52 Wofford trimmed it to five with 1:18 left, but the Mocs then made 7 of 8 from the line in the last 50 seconds of the game. Spencer Collins scored 21 points with eight assists to lead Wofford.
VMI at ETSU
The Bucs' T.J. Cromer scored 23 pointsas ETSU blew past VMI, 88-51 on Monday night. The Keydet's Trey Chapman scored the first points of the game, but the Bucs ripped off a 14-2 run to take a double digit lead just over six minutes into the game and never looked back. Julian Eleby scored 10 points for VMI
Samford at Furman
The Paladins Geoff Beans scored 16 points as Furman ran past Samford, 77-57 on Monday night. Christen Cunningham lead the Bulldogs with nine points.
UNCG at Western Carolina
The Cats's Rhett Harrelson scored 22 points as Western Carolina held off UNCG, 83-77 in overtime on Monday night. Harrelson sent the game into OT with a 3 pointer tied the score at 72 with 34 seconds left. UNCG's RJ White made a layup with 3:56 left in overtime that put the Spartans up 75-74 lead. However, Torrion Brummitt's 3-point play in the next possession regained the lead for Western, who then went on a 9-2 run for the win. Marvin Smith led UNCG with 21 points.
