Western Carolina women's soccer kicked off the 2013 campaign on Aug 7th with their first preseason practice of 2013.
The Catamounts return 20 players from the 2012 squad, including five seniors and 10 juniors. The Cats also welcome 10 newcomers to the squad, nine freshmen and a sophomore transfer.

High School: Rocky Mount HS
Height: 5-6
Position: MF
Club Team: PGSA Stars
High School Soccer: Named first team all- conference and all region in Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior year. Her junior and senior year was named Offensive player of the Year - with 44 goals which also led the conference and 31 goals, respectively. Holds the Rocky Mount High School all-time scoring record for both boys and girls with 125 goals. 2013 Rocky Mount All-Area Player of the Year. 2010 Conference Champions (first time in school history), 2012 Conference Champions.
Club Soccer: Team Captain (2010 -2012), Team ranked for Soccer in College #15 in the nation, USYS 2012 State Finalist, USYS 2011 State Semi Finalist, Disney Soccer Showcase Semi Finalist in 2012, 2009 Presidents Cup State Champions and Region III Champions, 2007 -2012 NC ODP Team.
Academics: National Honors Society (2011-2013), ranked 13th in her class, Scholars List (9th - 12th grade) 5.1 GPA, International Baccalaureate Program
Personal: Daughter of Cale and Michelle Cooke, has one brother Cody and sister Erin.
