Western Carolina women's soccer kicked off the 2013 campaign on Aug 7th with their first preseason practice of 2013.
The Catamounts return 20 players from the 2012 squad, including five seniors and 10 juniors. The Cats also welcome 10 newcomers to the squad, nine freshmen and a sophomore transfer.

2012 (Sophomore): Played in three matches, started two ... Missed most of the season due to injury.
2011 (Freshman): Played in 14 matches and started five ... Had one assist and took five shots.
High School: Robinson's technical brilliance and ability to control the midfield has made her a valuable member of both RJ Reynolds High School and 92 NC Fusion soccer teams ... Has been a starter for RJ Reynolds since her freshmen year and earned All Conference and All Region accolades her sophomore year ... At the club level, Robinson led her team to back-to-back premier division championships ... Part of the NC ODP program for five years and was on the state team that went to the regional ODP Championship in 2009 and 2010 ... Attended three ODP Regional Camps and she also attended the Super Y ODP National Camp in 2007 and 2008 and was part of the Select Team at the 2008 National Camp.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Jan Robinson and has a 19 year old sister Emily, and 27 year old brother named Sam ... Made A/B Honor Roll as a freshman and was voted team MVP of the JV Basketball team ... In her spare time, she enjoys running track and playing basketball ... Planning on majoring in Sport Management at WCU.
