It's week #9 in the SoCon, and it's time to make this week's SoCon football picks.
This week, we again have a full slate of conference games on the schedule.
So let's get to picking winners.....
Wofford (3-5, 1-3 Southern) at VMI (2-6, 1-3 Southern) 1:30 pm
The Terriers take to the road and change their fortunes, as they stop the Keydets win streak at one, Terriers win, 37-28
Mercer (3-4, 0-3 Southern) at The Citadel (5-2, 4-0 Southern) 2:00 pm
The Bears make their first trip to Charleston, and the Bulldogs turn out not to be good hosts for the Bears. Terriers win, 35-17
Western Carolina (5-2, 3-1 Southern) at Chattanooga (6-1, 4-0 Southern) 2:00 pm
The Cats travel to Chattanooga to meet the nationally ranked #4 Mocs, and extract a little revenge for last seasons loss. The Cats pick up their first win in Chattanooga since 2005, Cats 28-21.
Furman (3-4, 1-2 Southern) at Samford (3-4, 1-3 Southern) 3:00 pm
The Paladins travel to Birmingham, for a game that both Furman and Samford need to win to help right their ship. Both are coming off losses, but the Bulldogs outscore Furman by fourteen, 35-21.
