Catamount goal keeper Lauren Martin has been named the Southern Conference women’s soccer player of the week for competition Oct. 19-25.
Martin posted two of shutouts during the week, holding both Chattanooga and Samford scoreless and helping the Catamounts to their first SoCon weekend sweep of the season.
Martin posted four saves in the 2-0 win over Chattanooga and three more against regular-season champion Samford in a 1-0 win that snapped the Bulldogs’ nine-match winning streak.
