It's week #7 in the SoCon, and it's time to make this week's SoCon football picks.
This week, we almost have a full slate of conference games on the schedule, with only Mercer playing an OOC game. After this weekend, the log-jam for third place in the conference should clear up.
So let's get to picking winners.....
Chattanooga (4-1, 2-0 Southern) at VMI (1-5, 0-2 Southern) 1:30 pm ET
The Mocs travel to Lexington an tighten up the noose they have on first place, the Mocs win, 49-14
Western Carolina (3-2, 1-1 Southern) at Wofford (3-3, 1-1 Southern) 2:00 pm ET
The Cats travel to Spartanburg to meet the Terriers in place they haven't won a game in their last eight tries. However, they get another monkey off their back, as the Cats finaly come up with that win, 28-21.
The Citadel (3-2, 2-0 Southern) at Samford (3-2, 1-1 Southern) 3:00 pm ET
Two sets of Bulldogs meet in Homewood, and it turns into a real dogfight. This year, the traveling dogs ground out the yardage and pick up the win. The Citadel, 31-28.
East Tennessee State (0-5, 0-1 Away) at Mercer (2-3, 1-1 Home) 4:00 pm ET
The win less Bucs travel to Macon, not knowing what's about to happen to them. Not knowing there's two weeks of frustration brewing in the Bears about obe released upon them. Bears win, 49-0.
