Catamount Basketball - #31 Aaron Williams

The Catamount Basketball season tips off on November 13th in Cincinnati as the Catamounts open the season against the Bearcats at 7:00 pm on ESPN3. To start getting folks in the mood for basketball in the middle of football season, lets take a look at this season's team.

We'll start with the freshmen and move up to the seniors.

2014-15 (Freshman): Appeared in six games for the Catamounts ... Made his collegiate debut against Hiwassee (11/21) ... Scored two points late in the game as he went 1-1 from the field ... Played a minute in late relief against Georgia State (11/25) ... Appeared in games against Minnesota (12/05) and Vanderbilt (12/16) ... Played two minutes against Saint Catharine (12/30) while grabbing a pair of rebounds and connecting on two free throws ... Also blocked his first career shot against Saint Catharine ... Saw his last action against Furman (01/05) as he played two minutes ... Finished the year perfect from the field (1-1) and perfect from the free throw line (2-2).

Prior to Western Carolina: Averaged double figures all four years in high school ... Spent time at both the Greenfield School and Croatan High School ... As a freshman scored 17 points per game with eight rebounds and two blocks per contest ... The team finished with an 18-3 overall record ... As a sophomore scored 10 points per game with five boards per contest ... The team finished 12-7 overall ... As a junior advanced to the Section Championship with a 24-3 record ... Named All-Conference and to the All-Conference Tournament team ... Averaged 12 points, five rebounds and two assists per game ...
