Dennis Wagner following Saturday's scrimmage. "We've got a few bumps and bruises, but the kids are working hard. Our defense is trying to get used to the tempo and pace at which we are playing on the offensive side of the ball. I'm confident those guys will get there. (Our offensive speed) will only help them prepare for games as the pace is so fast. We are going to focus on getting the defense ready because defense wins championships."

From all the things I've read this preseason, Wagner seems lots more up beat about the team. I certainly hope he has reason to be, his job is on the line.
