Welcome to the eleventh annual Catamount Football "100 days to Football Kickoff Countdown".

During the countdown, we'll highlight the player whose number corresponds to that day in the countdown. To help pass those long summer days, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, and knowledgeable of the team members, we'll continue the football countdown each day until kickoff Saturday.

Since the official 2021 Catamount Football Roster has not yet been published, we'll use the 2021 Catamount Football Preseason Roster for jersey numbers until the new roster is posted, at which point we'll switch to the official roster for the remainder of the countdown.

It's now 56 days until the kickoff of Catamount football on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, in E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field, Cullowhee, NC.

2020 (Redshirt Junior at Temple): Saw action on PAT/FG units throughout the season ... missed the UCF and ECU games due to COVID protocols ... lettered.

2019 (Redshirt Sophomore at Temple): Saw action on PAT/FG units ... suffered injury vs. #21 Maryland and was sidelined for five games ... returned to play against UCF ... Athletic Director's Honor Roll ... American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

2018 (Redshirt Freshman at Temple): Saw first game action against Villanova ... played on FG/PAT unit ... Athletic Director’s Honor Roll ... lettered.

2017 (Freshman at Temple): Was a member of the 2017 recruiting class ... did not see game action ... Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week (Army) ... Juice Boyz Player of the Game (Army) ... Athletic Director’s Honor Roll ... redshirted.

High School: Played tight end for coach Art at North Allegheny High in Wexford, Pa. … was a three-year letterwinner and a team captain as a senior … had six catches for 73 yards in just six games his senior year and received first-team all-conference honors … his junior year, he had seven catches for 100 yards and three touchdowns and received second-team all-conference honors ... also played basketball in high school.

Personal: Born Griffin Christopher Sestili in Raleigh, N.C. … Is the son of Jana and Chris Sestili … father is the JV coach at North Allegheny High and played at Pitt … has a younger brother, Carson ... Earned his degree in marketing (Fall 2020).
