“That was amazing! Winning it on the last day (of the season), dogpile on your home field, you couldn’t ask for anything more,” said senior outfielder Cody Jones, the former Enka High standout who helped his team stretch its home record to 22-3 this season.
“These guys are incredible!” said head coach Bobby Moranda,“To go back-to-back (regular season titles) for the first time since the 80s is pretty impressive. That doesn’t happen much in Division I baseball.”
