"We are again looking forward to opening our fall season with the Great Smokies Intercollegiate at a wonderful host venue at the Waynesville Inn," said WCU second-year head coach, Mallory Hetzel. "This tournament earned and has maintained both a high level of competition, as well as a sense of hospitality that keeps teams coming back year after year. For Western Carolina, this event has traditionally been very successful and we look to continue that this weekend."
