Ian Berryman named to All-America Team by College Sports Madness

Catamount redshirt freshman punter Ian Berryman was named to the second team All-America as selected by CollegeSportsMadness.com.

Berryman was ranked among the best punters overall in the nation. Earning the starting job in preseason camp, Berryman ranked second in the Southern Conference -- and eighth nationally -- with an average of 43.7 yards per punt this year.

His seasonal performance ranks as the third-best, single-season in WCU football history, second only to the 1998 (44.5 avg.) and 1997 (44.2 avg.) seasons, respectively, by former WCU All-American punter, Ken Hinsley who played professionally in the Arena Football League.
