On Monday, the Catamounts (6-8, 1-1 SoCon) continue SoCon play as the Paladins (3-9, 1-1) visit Cullowhee as part of this season's first double header (women vs. Montreat College @ 5 pm). This will be the third consecutive home game for the Cats, but only the fifth game played in Cullowhee this season.
The Cats are 87-33 in the Ramsey Center under Coach Hunter, and are 4-1 in Ramsey this season and currently in the midst of a three game winning streak. The Cats are 27-37 all time against the Paladins, but are 18-11 in games between the two in Cullowhee.
Furman comes to Cullowhee off a loss to Chattanooga (60-72) and are 1-5 in their last six games. The Paladins are averaging 65 points per game, with a 42.6% field goal average, including 32.5% from 3-point range (6.7 made per game) and 67.2% from the free throw line. The Paladins are averaging 15 turnovers per game and are giving up 70,9 points per game.
Junior Stephen Croone leads Furman in scoring with an average of 18 points per game, followed by freshman Geoff Bean with 11 points. Those two are closely followed by junior Kendrec Ferrara & freshman Daniel Flower with 9.8 & 8.9 points per game, respectively.
