Western Carolina placed a school record five players on the 2014 University Division All-State Softball team as selected by the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA).
Freshman Whitney Haywood is a first team selection. Junior Jordan Garrett, sophomore Karley Harkey and freshmen Kara Salvo & Courtney Price were each named to the second team.
