Randle played his first two high school seasons at Girard High School, near Youngstown, OH, but transferred prior to his junior season to Medina High School. Randell averaged 23.5 points per game as a sophomore, which earned him 2nd Team All-Northeast Inland District. Then, Less than two months after Medina boys coach Anthony Stacey resigned, All-Ohio guard Craig Randall transferred to Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, AZ.
Selected as the #31 top Arizona HS basketball prospect, "A natural point guard, one of the top-rated players in his class in the country. Moved in from Medina, Ohio, where he gained scholarship offers from Akron, Cleveland State and Louisiana Tech."
