Catamount Basketball tips off on November 8th in Cullowhee. The Cats will open play against Wittenberg in the Ramsey Center. Coach Hunter spent 13 seasons as the head coach at Wittenberg, and led them to the NCAA Division III National Championship.

2012-13 (Freshman): Made an appearance in 16 of the team's 33 games ... Averaged 4.9 minutes per game ... Made his collegiate debut and scored his first basket at the 15:56 mark in the second half against UNC Asheville (11/09) ... Grabbed a career-high four rebounds in the UNCA game ... Played 11 minutes for a career high and scored four points against Warren Wilson (01/07) ... Tied a career-high with four rebounds in the game ... Notched 11 minutes tying a career-high against Chattanooga (02/28) with a career-high six points ... Went 4-of-7 from the free throw line.
Prior to Western Carolina: Averaged 12.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game as a junior for the Raiders and head coach Anthony Jenkins ... As a sophomore, was named Defensive Player of the Year and team MVP ... Over his amateur career, he has played AAU basketball for the Georgia Blazers and the Atlanta Knicks.
Personal: Is the son of William Brummitt, III and Carla Thornton.
