The Catamounts return 20 players from the 2012 squad, including five seniors and 10 juniors. The Cats also welcome 10 newcomers to the squad, nine freshmen and a sophomore transfer.

High School: Freshman year named Most Improved Player, junior year team captain and named All Conference Honorable Mention ... Senior year team captain, MVP, All Conference, most goals and assists, team went 34-26-3 over her four year career.
Personal: Daughter of James Kevin and Donna Elaine LaPlante ... Has one brother JJ LaPlante and one sister Sierra LaPlante ... Varsity Cross Country MVP three years and all conference and all-region three years in high school, also a singer and songwriter ... Brother JJ is a three time high school wrestler and her dad Kevin wrestled at Appalachian State.
