Received a National Football Foundation Scholarship from the Corrigan/Faircloth Chapter ... Twice received the Southern High School Super Patriot Award ... Also played basketball and baseball as a prep, averaging nine points per game as a power forward on the hardwood while playing first base on the diamond ... Hit .375 with three homeruns in baseball ... Was selected as a team captain for football, basketball and baseball during his senior year ... Came to WCU as an invited walk-on.
