It's now 47 days until kickoff of Catamount football at Floyd Stadium, home of the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State on August 29th in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
To help pass those long summer days until football season starts, and hopefully get the Catamount faithful more excited about the upcoming season, we'll continue with the 100 day football countdown to kickoff.

2012 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 10 of WCU's 11 games including eight starts in the defensive secondary ... Finished with 34 tackles including 10 solo stops ... Ranked second on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss totaling 13 yards with half a sack ... Forced three fumbles including two at Elon ... Made his WCU debut and first career start against Mars Hill, recovering a fumble and returning it nine yards for a touchdown ... Posted a career-high seven tackles against Chattanooga, tallying a career-best 2.5 tackles for loss.
2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not see game action ... Was named the defensive scout team player of the week prior to the Elon game ... Recorded an interception, returning it 27 yards for a touchdown, and forcing a fumble in WCU's annual Spring Game.
2010 (Freshman): Did not see game action, taking a redshirt ... Was named the offensive scout team player of the week prior to the Wofford game ... During the spring, converted to defensive back.
Prior to Western Carolina: Out of high school, earned an appointment to the United States Military Academy Preparatory School (USMAPS), located at Fort Monmouth, N.J., but chose to pursue football at Western Carolina ... Was named to the NCISAA All-State Football Team as both a junior and again as a senior ... Also participated in track & field, namely in the jumping events.
