VMI's Greg Parham was named the SoCon Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 25.0 points per game and shooting 50 percent from the floor. Parham finished the week 18-for-36 from the floor and 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, hitting a pair of three-pointers in each contest. He leads the league in scoring in SoCon games at 25.1 points per game. Parham's selection this week marks the Keydets' first consecutive SoCon Player of the Week honors since Jason Bell claimed back-to-back awards in weeks two and three of the 1997-98 season.
