Threw for over 5,000 yards and 35 touchdowns as a prep while also rushing for 25 TDs ... Named Index Journal MVP and was an All-Region selection ... Also played basketball in high school.
Personal: Full name is Hunter Evan Watson ... Is the son of Joe and Sherry Watson ... His brother, Josh, also plays football at WCU.
