The Catamounts will receive some much needed help on the defensive line with the late addition of Tennessee transfer Keensen Chambers.
Chambers did not participate in Saturday's scrimmage, as it was only his second practice with the team, and by NCAA regulations, he can not participate in full pads until after the fourth practice.
The Greenville, SC native signed with UConn 2009 after spending the fall semester at Worcester Academy where he was a New England Prep School Athletic Conference All-Star.
At Southside High School, was an all-county pick in 2007 and two-time all-region pick. Chambers also played basketball, his team won Class AA State Championship in 2007 and was named to all-tournament team.
Chambers redshirted a season at Tennessee due to transfer rules.
