Foster is the first Catamount softball player selected since 2007, when Stephanie Beatty was honored. Foster hit eight home runs and had 19 RBIs during the month of April, while maintaining a .417 batting average, with 23 hits, 20 runs and three doubles. Foster is tied for third for runs scored in a season with 44 and she has 61 hits this season, ranking her second in the WCU record books. Foster also ranks second in homeruns in a season with 17 only 4 short of the homerun record of 21 set by Ashley Adams in 2006.
