Prior to Western Carolina: Played final two seasons at Lake Mary High, finishing with 108 total tackles with 30 solo stops and 11 for loss over 25 games … Recorded one career sack, one interception, and a fumble recovery … Also played baseball as a prep.
Personal: Is the son of Mary and Loren McClanahan and the grandson of Papa Sam and Grammie McLanahan... has two siblings named Tyler and Amelia McClanahan
