Purple & Gold's "Catamount Player of the Game" for the East Tennessee State Buccaneers game on November 11th in Cullowhee is sophomore quarterback Cole Gonzales.
The Catamount Player of the Game, Cole Gonzales completed 25 of 38 passes for a season best of 363 yards and completed five touchdown passes to four different receivers, leading the Cats to a total of 687 total yards and 58 points. Cole also added 6 yards rushing in 4 carries, while leading the Catamounts to their seventh win of the season and fifth conference victory, keeping the Catamounts in contention for an NCAA FCS at-large playoff bid.
Congratulations to Cole on his selection, and the honors that will be forth coming based on his play in this game.
