Game 7 - at Furman Paladins

For the seventh game of the season, the Cats remain on the road and travel to Travelers Rest, SC to face the Furman Paladins for the 2022 football edition of The Battle for Purple Supremacy and the game is the SoCon Game of the Week.

The Cats broke a 5-game-losing streak to the Paladins last November winning a 43-42 slugfest in EJ Whitmire Stadium. This is a critical game for both teams, as a win for the Cats would break a 3-game "road losing streak", and a win for the Paladins would keep their conference championship hopes alive.
