Meet the Basketball Cats: Nicholas Robinson

Welcome to our annual meet the Catamount Men's Basketball Team.

During the countdown, we'll highlight each player on the official roster, starting with the freshmen, then moving up class by class, countdown the days until "Tip-Off". 

It's 21 days until the Cats tip off the season on November 9th against the Bowling Green Falcons in the Ramsey Center.

Today, we meet a grad student:

Prior to Western Carolina: Saw action in eight games during the 2020-21 season at Valparaiso, averaging 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in eight games…In 2019-20, started 19 of 25 games played…Averaged 6.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game…Tallied a season-high 19 points at SIU-Edwardsville on Nov. 12…Distributed a Valparaiso season-best and career-best nine assists at Loyola on Feb. 9…Sat out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules…Played the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons at Saint Joseph’s, starting 30 of 62 games played…Averaged 6.4 points and 4.4 rebounds for the Hawks.

High School: Attended Kenwood Academy… Was a second Team All-State selection from both the Associated Press and the IBCA as a senior... led Kenwood to 22 wins in 2015-16, averaging 17 points and nine rebounds per game...Was a member of Kenwood teams that earned Public League Red-Central titles in his final two seasons.
