The Purple & Gold "Player of the Game" for Thursday's road game at Chattanooga is junior forward Mike Amius.
Mike scored a career and game-high of 27 points against the Mocs to lead Western Carolina to just its fourth win in forty tries in Chattanooga. The win opens up SoCon play for the Cats with a perfect 2-0 record for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
Mike hit 12 of 16 field goals and was 3 of 6 at the free throw line. Mike also had 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 blocked shot as well as one assist.
