Texas A&M-Corpus Christi vs. Furman
The Islanders' Brandon Pye scored 19 points with five 3-pointers to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi over Furman 73-69 Thursday in the Battle 4 Atlantis regional tournament. Furman's Stephen Croone led the Paladins with 22 points, including 11 of 12 free throws, Matt Rafferty finished with 16 and 10 rebounds. The Paladins pulled ahead in the second half, but trailed 67-66 with 59 seconds left in the game. Bryce Douvier was fouled by Devin Sibley and sank both free throws for a 69-66 lead and the Islanders held on for the win.


Mercer vs. Tulane
Mercer's Phillip Leonard scored 14 points to lead Bears to a 71-61 victory over Tulane at The Challenge in Music City. Ethan Stair added 12 points and Jestin Lewis had 11 for the Bears. Mercer shot 52 percent from the field and controlled the boards 38-23. Mercer took control in the first half with a 19-2 run that stretched across both sides of the break to make it 35-19 with 17:51 left to play. The Bears hung on to the lead the rest of the way.
