According to Cleveland football coach Marc Morris, Jacobs, a senior, has committed to Western Carolina and will sign during the signing period next month .Jacobs helped lead the Rams to the eastern 3AA regional championship game and an 11-win season.
Jacobs had an outstanding senior season, earning all-conference honors and was the league's defensive player of the year. The defensive lineman recorded 69 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, five sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception.
