Williams was credited with 23 tackles on Saturday against Appalachian State, just one short of his career high set two weeks ago against The Citadel. Williams recorded eight solo stops including two for losses, and forced his fourth fumble of the season. Rock leads the defense with 99 tackles, and 14.14 tackles per game average leads the SoCon, and ranks him second in the nation at the FCS level.
