Today is the day

Today is the day.

The Catamounts take the field tonight at 6 pm against a FBS team.  Should we gage how far the Catamounts have come based on the final score to today's game?  or should we wait and judge the team's improvements (or lack of) against FCS teams?  Is the Wolfpack an unfair opponent to judge improvement against due to the 85 scholarships allowed vs. the 64 in the FCS?  Will the coaching staff have this team overachieving?  What about the play calling, will we see improvement?

It's now been three three years since Coach Wagner took over the program, and he now has three recruiting classes playing on this team.  The university has provided him with what the said he needed to make the Catamounts competitive, this is evidenced by two things, he turned down a job at a higher level to remain in Cullowhee, and he's received a contract extension.

So, what should we expect from today's game?  What if the Cats win?  What if the Cats lose by 20-30 points?

Many of these questions will be answered by the final score.  However, a blow-out will not bode well for the remainder of the season.
