Today, Head Football Coach Dennis Wagner announced new staff members, as well as, new job responsibilities for two members of the football staff for the upcoming season.
Two former intern assistants, Ty Davis and Dan Gibson, have been promoted to full-time positions within the athletic department at WCU. Coach Wagner also welcomed three new football coaches for the upcoming season, Jeremiah Ross; Michael Mayers; and Pat Arthurs.
Davis assumed the video coordinator position and Gibson (two-time graduate of Western Carolina) was named the Director of Football Operations.
Jeremiah Ross will serve as an offensive assistant working with the offensive line; Michael Mayers joined as a defensive assistant; and Pat Arthurs joins the offensive staff and will work with the WCU tight ends.
I think Coach Wagner has assembled a very capable staff, and we should see the results as this season progress.
