Ty Phillips
Title Assistant Coach/Bandits
Ty Phillips serves as an assistant football coach/bandit coach at Western Carolina.
Prior to WCU, he was the defensive line coach at Georgia Military College.
A former nose tackle for Georgia Southern University, he was on the coaching staff at the junior college level until 2024.
His coaching background and professional journey include his current role at Western Carolina; Assistant Coach/Defensive Line at Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA).
Prior Experience: Assistant Football Coach at McDonough High School
Playing Career: Standout nose tackle and collegiate athlete at Georgia Southern University.
