Head Coach: Greg Gary enters his third season at the helm of the Mercer men’s basketball program in 2021-22 after leading the Bears to 35 wins through two seasons, the most for Mercer men's basketball head coach in his first two seasons.

History: The Cats and Bears are tied 11-11, with both teams looking to take the lead in the overall history between the two as of Dec. 8, 1978. Their last meeting was in Cullowhee, N.C. on Feb. 27, 2021, where WCU won 85-61.

The Bears are coming off a 64-72 defeat in Freedom Hall against ETSU.
