Purple & Gold 's "WCU Player of the Game" is Xavier Cork
While he didn't score the winning goal or lead in scoring, he did make the winning block to preserve a victory for the Catamounts over the Bulldogs of the Citadel.
Cork just missed a double-double, scoring 9 points, as he hit 4 of 5 field goals and scored one from the free-throw line. Xavier pulled down 10 rebounds, 4 offensive and 6 defensive, had 2 assists and 3 blocked shots.
