Hurst is a verbal commit to the Catamounts, he currently has offers from Cornell, Navy, Army and Air Force.

"The decision to commit to the Catamounts program, which plays football in the Southern Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision, puts to bed a recruiting process which really began to blow up for Hurst in February. During the spring evaluation period, when college coaches lay the groundwork for the following season’s recruiting class, Hurst’s game received interest and offers from wide-ranging sources. Three of those offers came from service academies: Army, Navy and Air Force, with another coming in from Cornell University."   (Link to this article)
