Purple & Gold's  "WCU Player of the Game" is  Xavier Cork

Xavier scored a career and game-high 23 points to lead Western's win over the VMI Keydets tonight in Cullowhee. Hitting 10 of 15 field-goal attempts, and going 3 for 4 from the free-throw line.  He also pulled down five rebounds, had one assist, two steals, and one blocked shot.
