Western Carolina completed competition at the
2015 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships on Sunday
, as the
Catamount women's team won the women's overall title, and the men's team finished second in second place of the men's division.
The women won nine of the 15 events on the final day of competition to claim an 89 point victory over second place
Samford. The
Bulldogs earned the men's championship by 41 points over Western as the men won five of the 15 events on Sunday.
This year, the
Catamounts continued their dominance in
Southern Conference Track & Field, winning 3 of 4 of the championships offered in Track & Field, while finishing second for the forth title, down only 41 overall points behind Samford, 203 - 244.
