The Keydets are only 1-9 on the road this season, but they are coming in off that one road win at Wofford one of the more difficult places in the SoCon to pick up a win. Senior Greg Parham and center Jake Stephens each scored 22 points to help lead VMI to an 84-80 overtime win over the Wofford last Wednesday at Richardson Indoor Stadium. With the win, VMI knocked off a SoCon first place team for the second time this season, as the Keydets handed the Furman Paladins their first league loss in Lexington. The Terriers finish a three-game road swing through the Carolinas as they visit the Ramsey Center.
The Keydets are currently scoring an average of 80.6 points per game, good enough for 3d place in the SoCon and giving up 76.4 ppg placing them in 7th place in scoring defense. VMI has 3 players averaging double digits, lead by Greg Parham with 19.2 ppg, followed by Jake Stephens with 14.5 ppg, and Kamdyn Curfman with 12.2 points, along with two players averaging 9 points per game. They are averaging 11 three-pointers per game, and as a team hitting 13 free throws per game.
